Welcome to the Town of Brooksville. Settled 1760. Set off from Castine, Penobscot, and Sedgwick and incorporated June 13, 1817 the 222nd town. Principle settlements Brooksville, North Brooksville, South Brooksville, West Brooksville, Cape Rosier, Harborside.

Brooksville is bounded North by Penobscot ; East by Sedgwick ; South and West by Penobscot Bay and nearby to the northwest is Castine.
