Goodwin: I am looking for any information relating to my great-grandfather, William Russell Goodwin, who fl. mid-to-late 1800's, died early 1900's. He owned property in Stetson (and deeded a farm to his daughter Nettie, the mother of John Farnham of Newport, Me. Apparently he later removed to Oldtown, Maine, residing on Stillwater Avenue. His wife was Vienna Ames West, and I would be interested in any anecdotal information re the foregoing and his other two daughters, Wilma Russell Goodwin (Mrs. John H. Mansell), and Winifred Goodwin Thompson.

We have visited the cemetery where the Goodwin monument is located, but unfortunately I cannot locate the name of the cemetery at the present time.
